A citizen stopped officers a short time later to report that a red "DK" bike had been found in weeds near the pavilion. The bike was returned to the teen's father.

Another witness identified two more in the group to police. He told them they were members of a gang called "Bahama Boys" and said he overheard them saying they would be "kicking some (expletive) at the pavilion."
