ELYRIA – A Lorain man arrested during a crackdown on gang activity in the city earlier this year pleaded guilty Friday to participating in a criminal gang.
Raymond Fowler III, 19, was immediately sentenced to five years in prison on that and other drug charges he had also faced.
Fowler is already serving a three-year prison sentence on an unrelated robbery conviction and will serve the five-year sentence at the same time.
Fowler is the only one of the 20 people arrested during the anti-gang sweep to plead guilty to the charges against him.
