Paul F. Sartor, 93, of Grafton, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Paul son of the late Carroll and Loretta Sartor was born in Sandusky on April 17, 1926. He was the third of nine children.
Paul wore many hats, he retired from Bendix in 1986 and Diamond Products in 1991. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, farming and raising rabbits for his grandchildren's multiple 4-H projects. Paul was especially proud of his blue ribbon gladiola flowers. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He always had a ready smile and twinkle in his eye.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Scheryl; twin daughters, Laura Sartor and Kim (Scott) Beriswill, both of Grafton; grandchildren, Daniel Beriswill of Grafton and Jenna Beriswill of Denver; siblings, Cecelia Klepper of Sandusky, Richard Sartor of Canton, Michigan, Sr. Francine Sartor, OSF of Carey, Ohio, Elaine Jesberger of Tiffin, Ronald Sartor of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Sr. Dionne Sartor, OSF of Carey, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Carroll "Jay" Sartor and Father Alfred Sartor OFM/Conv.
Family will receive friends from 9 Aa.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 708 Erie St., Grafton. The Reverend Father John Seabold, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and Palliative care for the wonderful care they gave Paul.
