Margaret Lengyel (nee Concar), 74, of Vermilion, passed away comfortably at home, exactly where she wanted to be, with her beloved husband and sons there by her side. She passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 and was under the care of Mercy New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph. She was born June 15, 1944 in Lorain, but had lived in Vermilion for most of her life and is a 1962 graduate of Vermilion High School.
Margaret loved tending to her home and family and being a devoted wife and loving mother while raising her two sons. Of course, her grandchildren were such a highlight in her life as well. Margaret had a huge spot in her heart for animals, especially horses and dogs and enjoyed working in her garden, where she paid special attention to her flowers. She was proud to be alongside her husband while attending numerous car shows, sometimes with their own antique collection and was also proud to have helped with some of the restoration projects on their car collection.
Margaret is going to be dearly missed by her husband of 50 years, Robert W. Sr.; sons; Robert Jr. (Rebecca) of Vermilion and Allan (Robin) of Birmingham; grandchildren, William, Eva, Kenny and Jennie; great-grandson, Daniel and her brother, George (Elizabeth) Concar of Henrietta Twp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret (nee Pine) Concar.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 4 P.M. until the time of her funeral service at 7 P.M. at The Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Pastor Jim Cooper will be officiating her funeral service.
The family suggests that contributions in Margaret's memory, be made to any charity or organization of their choice.
