Michelle Lee Burkhart, 47, passed away in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho on Monday, August 20, 2018. Michelle was born in Elyria on November 25, 1970 and made her home here until leaving for college.
She was employed as a dental hygienist and was a former member of St. Jude Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School with the class of 1988 and earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Tri C and her B.A from the University of Akron. Michelle was a very kind and generous person and she loved animals.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Earl and Sandra Conrad of Elyria; brother, Timothy W. (Julie) Burkhart II of Streetsboro; step brother, Michael (June) Conrad; aunts, Kathleen Cook and Debra (Dick) Cutter of LaGrange; two nieces, Amanda and Madelon Burkhart; nephew, Timothy (Melanie) Burkhart III and cousins, Paula (Roger) Staffeld of Wellington and Daniel Cutter of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy W. Burkhart; maternal grandparents, William and Mary Ann Steckler; paternal grandparents, Richard and Carletta Burkhart and aunt, Barbara Miller.
Friends may gather Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at St. Jude Catholic Church Gathering Area, 590 Poplar Street, from 9 A.M. until the time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. with the The Reverend Father Frank P. Kosem, Pastor, officiating.
