Audrey A. Allen Brown (nee Buchholz), 88, of Grafton, was called home by her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Born in Elyria on November 7, 1929, she was the daughter of Oscar and Bertha Buchholz. She had lived most of her life in Grafton and the past three and a half years at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange.
A 1947 graduate of Wellington High School, she worked most of her life as a full time mother. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, crocheting and crafts. She was a member of the Grafton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Henry) Linden of Grafton, Sharon (Jerry) Tonini of Holland, Michigan; sons, Michael Allen of Naples, Florida, Gerald (Sharon) Allen of Elyria, Paul Allen of Dodge City, Alabama and Tom Allen of Grafton with whom Audrey made her home and foster son, Jerry Conrad of Oberlin; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and three stepchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Barb Allman and Cheryl Allen; son, Richard Allen; husbands, Marcellas Allen and David Brown; sister, Marion Kobasher and by her parents.
Friends may call Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5 to 8 P.M. in The Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton, where funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 in the funeral home at 10 A.M. Burial will be in Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton Township.
