Frank Edward Harris, 63, of Elyria, passed away at home of natural causes Sunday, December 24, 2017 following a lengthy illness. He was born November 22, 1954 in Elyria.
Frank graduated from Elyria High School, class of 1974 and was raised in the Second Baptist Church in Elyria. He served his country in the U.S. Army in 1979. He was employed as a cook at Country Kitchen, Mountain Jack's Restaurant and the GM Fisher Guide Plant. He was a sports fanatic and fun to be with. He enjoyed dancing and dressing up for the occasion.
Mr. Harris is survived by his siblings, Johnnie F. Glynn (Tracy) of Elyria, Betty Bugg of Elyria, Tommie Harris, Jr. (Debbie) of Elyria, Mike A. Harris (Lisa) of Elyria; many grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Frank Edward Oliver; parents, Tom Willie Harris and Willie M. Ferguson (nee Thomas).
Memorial service will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Second Baptist Church, 427 Chapman Lane, Elyria. Pastor Tommie Donell Harris will officiate. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Busch Funeral Home, Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
