Vivian Ann Cook

Vivian Ann Cook, 73 years young, of North Ridgeville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday March 29, 2014 at The Orchards in Westlake. This day in March, when all were anticipating and hoped for the arrival of spring flowers, presented with a chill in the air with white petals of snowflakes falling to and covering the ground.

Vivian "Pippy" was born in Wayland, Kentucky, then lived in and raised her family in Mullens and Helen, West Virginia. She had been a resident of North Ridgeville for many years.

Vivian is survived by her four children, David Clifton Cook of Beaver, West Virginia, Larry T. Cook of Princeton, West Virginia, Lisa Ann Monnier of Lakestation, Indiana and Mike T. Cook of Flushing, Ohio; grandchildren, Leslie Doffin, Paulette Blankenship, Candace Monnier, Trisha Monnier, Jarred Cook, Madison Cook, Frances Cook; and great grandchildren, Camille Culbreath, Isaac Doffin, Brock Blankenship, Olivia Davis, Lucas Blankenship.

She will be missed by other family as well; sisters, Jeannette Beverly, Jane Cook; one surviving brother, Larry Webb. Vivian also has many nieces and nephews that will truly miss her.

She was the daughter of the Late Steve and Stella Webb. Vivian was the 13th of 16 children. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Cook.

She loved gospel music, shopping and spending time with her family. She liked watching old movies, springtime and going for long drives; Vivian enjoyed attending church at the Cathedral of Life Church in North Ridgeville. Vivian had a large giving heart. She would always try to help others that were less fortunate.

Services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, April 4, 2014, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley, West Virginia. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may gather with the family Thursday, April 3, 2014, from 6 to 8 P.M., in the funeral home.
