Walter W. Brink, 74, of Elyria, died Monday, January 20, 2014 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain. He was born February 18, 1939 in Coalport, Pennsylvania.
Walter had been a longtime resident of Texas, where he was employed for 37 years as a truck driver for North American Van Lines. After moving to Elyria, he worked at Ridge Tool Company and Elyria Plastic Products. He was a member of Elyria Eagles Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Walter is survived by a son, Robert Brink of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter, Lori Zold of Portland, Oregon; five grandchildren; and a sister, Perney Tompkins of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Shirley and Joy; sisters, Josephine Skaggs, Martha and Bertha Brink; brothers, Robert and Clair Brink; and parents, Walter and Alice Brink.
