Alice M. Keiper (nee Harrington), 86 years old, of Elyria, died Friday, December 20, 2013, at Golden Acres Home, following a long illness. Mrs. Keiper was born October 11, 1927, in Columbia Station and made her home in Elyria for most of her life.
She was employed at Trio Products for 22 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Elyria. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. She loved her dog, Heidi.
She is survived by two sons, Gary E. Keiper and Robert D. Keiper, both of Elyria; one grandson, Brian Keiper; and one great-grandson. She is also survived by two sisters, Ruth Frazier of Desert Palm, California and Helen Tague of New Port Richie, Florida.
Mrs. Keiper was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Keiper in 2000; and one sister, Violet Farrell.
Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Sunday, December 22, 2013, from 6 until 9 P.M. Funeral services will be in the funeral home Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1 P.M. The Reverend Dalton Love, of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
