Ed is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cheryl (nee Sobocienski); sons, Edward (Jennifer) of Lorain and Patrick (Laura) of Amherst; daughter, Tammy (Don) Floreske of Amherst; grandchildren, Hanna and Matthew Floreske; sisters, Sheila (Terry) Hartsel of Avon Lake and Jessie Karish of Lorain; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Joanne Sanders of Sheffield; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Hultai; brothers, John and Kenneth Sanders.
Family will receive friends Sunday, December 16, 2012, 2 until 6 P.M., at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst. Closing prayers will be 9:30 A.M., Monday, December 17, 2012, at the funeral home, followed by a 10 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amherst. Reverend Lawrence N. Martello, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial, with military rites conducted by the Amherst Veterans Military Honor Guard, will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
