Norma M. Del Sesto, 90, of Grafton, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012, in Hospice of the Western Reserve Center in Cleveland, after a long illness. She was born November 19, 1922, in Elyria, living in the Grafton area since 1954.
She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Grafton for many years, and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of the church. Mrs. Del Sesto was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, walking and caring for her family home.
She is survived by one daughter, Maria (Mirko) Mujic of Eastlake; three sons, Ronald (Jean) Del Sesto of Akron, Rocco A. (Debra) Del Sesto of Watkinsville, Georgia, Robert Del Sesto of Norfolk, Virginia; special adopted son, Ray of Norfolk, Virginia; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Shatto, who was killed in WWII in 1944; her second husband of 61 years, Rocco in 2008; one son, Richard in 1995; one brother, Leonard; and two sisters, Delene and Mildred.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton, Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 5 until 8 P.M., with a Funeral Mass Friday, December 7, 2012, at 10 A.M., in the Chapel of Our Lady Queen of Peace, 708 Erie St. in Grafton, with Father John Seabold as the Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Grafton.
