Noah L. Cain, 69, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Ames Family Hospice house in Westlake, after a short illness. He was born February 18, 1943 in Pemberton, West Virginia, living in the LaGrange area many years.
He served in the U.S. Army during the 1960s, at one point serving in Korea. He was employed by the Ford Motor Co. for 30 years in assembly, before retiring in 1998. He enjoyed hunting, college football, camping and boating.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Cain, married 19 years; daughters, Kim (Wallace) Clark of LaGrange and Angela (Gary) Leach of Elyria; son, Chris Cain of LaGrange; step daughters, Annette Orr of North Royalton, Christine Stasek of Berea and Bernadette Rodusky of Indiana; step son, Tom (Meg) Stasek of Columbus; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren; five brothers and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda in 1992; brother, Ronald; sister, Dorothy Conley and his parents, Jimmy and Alice Cain.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton, Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. with funeral services Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the funeral home at 11 A.M., with Rev. Ed Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in River Rd. Cemetery, LaGrange Twp.
