Antonia Munoz, 81, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico on October 12, 1926 and had been a resident of Elyria for four years.
She enjoyed attending church at Sacred Heart Chapel in Lorain, music, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family, especially with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Maria Heaton of Elyria; sons, Jose Munoz of Bay Village, Carlos Munoz and Eric Munoz, both of Cleveland, Jimmy Munoz of Salem, John Munoz and Edwin Munoz, both of Elyria, William Munoz of New Mexico and Elias Munoz of Puerto Rico; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jaime Munoz; parents, Antonio and Mariana (nee Borjas) Dieppa; and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 7 to 9 P.M. at Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road, Sheffield Twp. Funeral Services and burial will take place in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.
