Monna Marie Carmen, 77, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007, at home after a brief illness.
She was born Monday, May 26, 1930, in Wellington, living in Lorain County all her life. She was a homemaker and housewife who enjoyed animals, feeding the birds and enjoyed the outdoors.
She is survived by one son, Hal (Janice) Noble of Florence, Ala.; threeÂ stepsons, Larry (Kim) Carmen of Amherst, Scott Carmen of Oberlin; and Alan (Beth) Carmen of Spencer; twoÂ grandchildren, Kristina (Eric) Berry of Panama City, Fla.; Rick (Tina) Noble of Hanford, Calif.; and step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold T. and Gladys Marie (Bowen) Bursley; husband, Allen Carmen in 2007; one brother, Melvin Bursley; and one sister, Marlene Moulder.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange Township, with the Rev. Hal Noble and Marcia Moskal, Monna's son and niece, officiating.
The family requests memorials be made to the donor's choice. Arrangements were made by Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton.
