Mary Susan Bradley (nee Greulich), 65, a resident of Manchester, passed away Monday, September 3, 2007, at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home. She was born Aug 28, 1942 in Lorain where she was raised, graduated from
school, and resided for 20 years.
She moved to Kipton, where she lived for 28 years before moving to Manchester where she has been a resident for the past 17 years.
Mary enjoyed making beautiful surroundings for everyone she knew, and flower and vegetable gardening were some of her favorite past times.
Aesthetics were important to her, and restoring and decorating were a lifetime passion.
She, along with her husband owned and operated the Hickory Ridge Bed and Breakfast in Manchester, for 15 years and were featured in Ohio Magazine.
She was a member of the Adams County Chamber of Commerce as well as the Scenic Route Committee for the State of Ohio.
She enjoyed reading, music, and extensive travel in Europe.
Her family and grandchildren were everything to her.
Survivors include her husband of 41, William Bradley; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Melissa (Vlasak) Bradley and their son, Jack of Bainbridge; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Rick Mack and their daughters, Mackenzie and Alexa of Kipton; mother, Mary Lou Greulich (nee Brown) of Hillsboro; brothers and sister-in-laws, Thomas and Maria Greulich of Woodstock, GA, and Charles and Debra Greulich of Waxhaw, NC; sister, Gwynn M. Brown of
Hillsboro; as well as five nephews; and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas J. Greulich in 1996.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 until 8 P.M. at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst, where funeral services will be held Friday at 1 P.M. Rev. Leah Matthews, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery, Brownhelm Township.
