Emma Jane Williamson, (nee Williams), 53, of Mansfield, formerly of Elyria, died Monday, August 20, 2007 following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Williamson was born May 16, 1954 in Oberlin. She was a member of New Jerusalem Church in Mansfield where she served on the usher board, kitchen staff, and sang in the choir. She enjoyed cooking, helping others, and had a concern for others. She was known as the Card Lady because she loved sending cards to people.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Willie J. Williamson of Mansfield; daughter, Tiffany Mastin of East Ridge, Tennessee; step-daughter, Treese Williamson of Mansfield; son, Anthony Williams, Jr. of Elyria; mother, Edith Williams (nee Henry) of Oberlin; sisters, Irena Williams of Alexandria, VA, Patricia Stiles of Oberlin, Minnie Taylor of Lorain, and Teresa Williams of Oberlin; brothers, Walter Brown of Smyrna, GA, Kenneth Thorpe of Elyria, and Larry Metcalf of Lorain; 10 grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her father, Henry Morris; paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 7 to 9 P.M. at Original Glorious Apostolic Church, 995 Foster Ave., Elyria.
Funeral Service will be Friday, August 24, 2007 at 12 Noon. Evangelist Doris E. Williams, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. Arrangements by Brown-Robinson Funeral Home.
