John Hasko, 68, of Moreno Valley, CA, passed away in his home from Agent Orange on July 19, 2007. He was born March 28, 1939 in Pittston, PA.
He worked as a Security Consultant for the Boeing Corporation.
He served as a CMSgt. with the Security Police in the Air Force for 25 years. John received the Bronze Star Meritorious Service Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters, the AF Commendation Medal, Distinguished Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct with Silver oak leaf and a Vietnam Service Medal with 4 oak leaf clusters.
John was a member of St. Andrews Newman Center.
John is survived by his wife, Susan; son, Kevin and his wife, Jennifer; brothers, Steven (Judy) of Barstow, CA, George (Cindy) of Ohio, Jim (Suzanne) of Ohio; sisters, Anna Krueck of Fayetteville, NC, Rosemary (James) Braden of Lake Orion, MI; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly Sotelo-Belknapp; sons, Christopher and William; parents, John and Susann Hasko; and sister Susann Hasko.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 2007, 5 to 8 P.M. and Rosary at 6 P.M. at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA. Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 27, 2007, 10 A.M. at St. Andrews Newman Center, 105 Big Springs Rd., Riverside, CA. Interment follows at Olivewood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Andrews Newman Center or to the American Cancer Society.
