Norma E. Mendlik, 96, of Grafton, died Friday at Wesleyan Village in Elyria. She was born on May 25, 1911 in Cleveland and had lived in North Olmsted for most of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening and knitting.
She is survived by her son, Joseph (Diane) Mendlik, of Grafton; a sister, LaVerne Helminac; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her parents, Charles and Anne (Bunker) Gelb; a sister, Cleo Krebs; a brother, Edmund "Bobby" Gelb; and a grandchild.
Friends may call on Monday from 11A.M. until the time of services at 1 P.M. at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Burial will follow at Wakeman Cemetery.
