Clifford E. "Tug" Wilhelm, 82, of Monroeville died Saturday, June 9, 2007 in the Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk. He was born March 9, 1925 in Monroeville, where he was a life long resident. Tug was a farmer and a life member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville. He married Margaret Elmlinger on August 16, 1947.
He is survived by his children, Mary (Ken) Seliga of South Russell, Rose Seliga of Stow, Thomas (Mary) Wilhelm of Monroeville, Jeanne (James) Schubert of North Ridgeville, Catherine (James) Limbird of Attica, Joseph (Sheryl) Wilhelm of Monroeville, Ronald (Jennifer) Wilhelm of Lubbick, TX; 20 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Elmlinger) Wilhelm in 2005; one grandson, James Clifford Limbird in 1990; his parents, Otto and Rachel (Ott) Wilhelm; five brothers, Oscar, Richard, Lambert, Russell and James Wilhelm; and one sister, Sister Mary Lambert, S.N.D.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 9 P.M. at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 10 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville. The Rev. Kenneth J. Lill will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville.
