LORAIN — Lorain High School and the Lorain High School Annex will host an emergency drill 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
The drill will include several streets being closed around the high school at 2270 E. 42nd St., and the nearby annex at 2321 Fairless Drive. Set up for the drill begins at 8 a.m.
The drill will simulate a “crisis” involving an active shooter and a bomb threat, Superintendent Tom Tucker said Monday. It will involve school personnel, police and the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office, according to a Lorain Schools news release.
The annex houses ninth-graders and the Career Recovery Academy. For more information, call (440) 233-2250.
