LORAIN — Two groups are taking their caring to the streets Friday and Saturday to host the annual Spring Days of Caring along Pearl Avenue in Lorain.
The United Way of Greater Lorain County and Leadership Lorain County will provide spring cleaning along Lorain’s Pearl Avenue corridor and the health and human service agencies in the surrounding neighborhood. Volunteer activities include general outdoor cleanup, landscaping, gardening, sorting, organizing and painting.
Activities will kick off at noon Friday with lunch at the Boys & Girls Club on Pearl Avenue. Friday’s project locations include Boys & Girls Club, Lorain County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services and Lorain County Free Clinic.
Breakfast is 8 a.m. Saturday at El Centro, 2800 Pearl Ave., followed by projects at El Centro, Blessing House and along Pearl Avenue between East 28th and East 42nd streets.
