North Ridgeville High students temporarily evacuated

NORTH RIDGEVILLE – A heating and cooling unit on the roof of North Ridgeville High School overheated, setting off the buildings fire alarm system shortly before 10 a.m. today and resulted in a temporary evacuation of students.

Superintendent Jim Powell said students were sent to Wilcox Elementary School while the situation is evaluated. He anticipated students returning to class soon. Students will not be sent home.
