Elyria blotter: Neighbor informs police of possible break-in

The following was taken from Elyria police reports:

Oct. 10, 2013

  • 4:15 p.m. – 1600 block of West Ave. – A man was sitting on his couch when, he said, his girlfriend started yelling at him in his house. She went outside and started throwing bricks at his car, he told police.
  • 10:19 p.m. – 800 block of Rosewood Drive – A woman said her son pulled a knife from a drawer and threatened her boyfriend. She said he then set the knife down and became calm.
  • 11:00 p.m. – 200 block of 7th Street – A man said he thought someone had broken into his neighbor’s house. Police saw that the door to the house was unlocked.
