Trustee critically injured

PENFIELD TWP. – Penfield Township Trustee Lloyd Gordon was listed in critical condition at Metro Health Medical Center on Monday after he was run over by a tractor.

Jack Powell, a friend of Gordon’s, said Gordon was working on his dairy farm Sunday when the accident occurred. Gordon was flown by Lifeflight to Metro Health, and he was heavily sedated on Monday morning, according to Powell.

“Health-wise, he made it through the night,” he said. “His vitals appear to be stable.”

Gordon’s family has been posting updates on Gordon’s condition at An update on the website indicates that Gordon has numerous injuries, including a cerebral hematoma, collapsed lungs, broken facial bones, eight broken ribs, a fractured pelvis and other complications.
