1:20 p.m. — 500 block Broad St., the owner of New Image Sports Bar said he found eight $50 bills in his cash register, two of which were counterfeit. He said he found it odd that there was so much money in the register, and he believed a female bartender had knowingly accepted the counterfeit bills. Police said the woman’s phone was shut off, and officers were not able to reach her.

6:21 p.m. — 100 block Raleigh Drive, a man reported that several electronics were stolen from his daughter’s room after she left her bedroom window unlocked.

6:31 p.m. — 1400 block West River Road North, a woman said her ex-boyfriend choked her and pushed her to the ground, stealing her cell phone. She said the man had called her numerous times asking if he could come over, and she said he approached her when she was emptying trash into the garbage bin.

Tuesday, June 4

8 a.m. — 4800 block O’Neil Blvd., a woman reported that someone scraped paint off of her vehicle with a key or another small object. She believed neighborhood kids were responsible, as it was a common occurrence in the area.
