ELYRIA — A 20-year-old Strongsville man was cited after he collided with a city of Elyria dump truck Saturday afternoon.
Elyria police officers responded to the crash at South Gateway Boulevard and Second Street at 1:25 p.m.
The Strongsville man, who was driving a Pontiac Grand Am, was taken to EMH Elyria Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Elyria police Sgt. Gerald Lantz.
Lantz would not release the name of either driver.
He said the driver of the Pontiac was cited for driving the wrong way on a one-way street and without an operating license after he hit the dump truck going the wrong way on South Gateway.
