Police search for missing 15-year-old girl

MEDINA — City police are seeking a missing 15-year-old girl, believed to have run away with a 22-year-old man.

Jessica Kollar was last seen by her family Thursday, according to a post on the Medina police Facebook page.

She is believed to be with 22-year-old Maxwell Leibsla, police said.

Kollar has contacted friends saying she is OK, but she refused to say where she is.

Police said they may have made their way to Miami.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Leibsla on the charge of interference with custody, a first-degree misdemeanor that becomes a fifth-degree felony if the child is removed from the state, according to Medina Municipal Court records.

Kollar is 5-feet 2-inches tall, weighs 115 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. Leibsla is 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes, according to descriptions provided by police.
