LORAIN — A 32-year-old Lorain man was arrested Tuesday after allegations that he had sex with a 12-year-old girl during a party.
The man, Jonathan Pack, was arrested at his home in the 1800 block of Crehore Ave. and charged with criminal child enticement. The arrest was made after the alleged victim's sister told police in November that she was at a party at Pack’s house where everyone, including herself, was smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol.
The girl said she went to the party with her 12-year-old sister, who was friends with Pack. The girl alleged that during the party, her sister had sex with Pack. The 12-year-old said she has engaged in sexual relations with Pack several times in the past, according to a police report.
According to the report, the girl said she was asked to participate in a drug deal at the party, and she said Pack was cooking drugs in the kitchen, and he later left the party with guns.
Before Pack dropped the girls off at their home at 5 a.m., he allegedly told the girls if they say anything about where they were or who they were with, “there would be problems.” Police said, because of the alleged threats, she was reluctant to report the incident to police.
The girl told police she also received a text message of a video of Pack and her sister having sex.
Pack was taken to Lorain City Jail, where he was later released on a $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 10 a.m. Thursday in Lorain Municipal Court.
According to court documents, Pack was convicted of disorderly conduct in 2001, assault and criminal trespass in 2007 and telephone harassment in 2008.
