3:30 p.m. — 6000 block S. Dewey Road, Amherst Township, theft of kitchen cabinets and copper pipe.

3:43 p.m. — 50000 Portman Road, Amherst Township, theft of money and jewelry.

Wednesday, Dec. 5

7:49 a.m. — 19000 block Indian Hollow Road, LaGrange Township, a man was found sleeping in a vehicle in the driveway. Deputies discovered that the vehicle was reported as stolen by the North Ridgeville Police Department.

10:25 p.m. — 40000 block Whitney Road, LaGrange Township, theft of jewelry, a television, laptop computer and various household items.

9:55 a.m. — 10000 block Greenview Ave., Columbia Station, theft of Christmas decorations.

Saturday, Dec. 8

11:26 p.m. — 40000 Butternut Ridge, Carlisle Township, theft of two flat screen televisions, a 17-carat diamond ring and miscellaneous jewelry.

4:46 p.m. — 42000 Griswold Road, Elyria Township, theft of a wedding ring, laptop computer, two men’s rings, a safe, U.S. coins and a Glassman door.

5:10 p.m. — 400 block Sheffield Center, Sheffield Township, Apples, theft of cigarettes and one chicken dinner.

Sunday, Dec. 30

12:25 a.m. — 8000 block Leavitt Road, Amherst Township while on patrol, a deputy saw a vehicle for sale that had been jacked up off the ground with all the tires and rims missing. A second vehicle that was also for sale had the driver’s side windows smashed out.

3:23 p.m. — 4000 block Oberlin Ave., Hector Borrero, 56, same address, charged with domestic violence and disruption of public service.

5:40 p.m. — 3000 block Jaeger Road, Kohl’s, Nicholas Quinones, 18, 100 block Sunrise Drive, Amherst, charged with theft-shoplifting after he allegedly stole cubic zirconia earrings valued at $25.

Thursday, Jan. 3

8:40 a.m. — 2900 block W. Erie Ave., theft of a 42-inch LG 3-D television, a 32-inch Vizio HDTV and an Xbox with controller and camera, totaling $1,600.

11:39 a.m. — 200 block 14th St., theft of an LCD TV, desktop computer, jar of change, a 20-gauge shotgun, five rings, gold cuff links and $25,000 in savings bonds.

5:11 p.m. — 300 block 17th St., burglary, theft of a PlayStation, Xbox, Kindle tablet, 12 video games, a DVD movie and one empty DVD case. All the items were found in two book bags.

3:16 p.m. — 4500 block Midway, JC Penney, theft of four pairs of jeans valued at $160.

Wednesday, Jan. 2

12:11 a.m. — 200 block Northfield Drive, burglary, theft of a blu ray player, cash, diamond bracelet, gold bracelet and a gold chain. The homeowner found the front door open and a piece of trim laying in the entrance.

2:49 a.m. — 600 block Bond St., breaking and entering after the mother of the homeowner found a busted out bathroom window. Nothing was stolen.

7:24 a.m. — 200 block Spyglass Drive, breaking and entering. Nothing was stolen.

5:46 p.m. — 1600 block West River Road N., Toys R Us, Aundrea Frazier, 18, 300 block Bon-Air Ave., Elyria, was charged with theft after she admitted to taking $150 in cash from the store’s register.
