Thursday, Nov. 29

2:18 a.m. — 1400 block West River Road N., police respond to a disturbance and charge Alfonzo Johnson, 22, of Cleveland, with obstructing official business after he allegedly gave a false identity.

7:11 a.m. — 700 Delaware Ave., camera and CDs worth a combined $200 taken from car.

7:26 p.m. — 200 block Park Meadow Drive, break-in reported.

10:37 a.m. — 800 block Broad St., complaint about harassing messages.

12:27 p.m. — 100 block Park Meadow Drive, man reports being robbed, which police said might be related to an assault complaint and damage to a vehicle about an hour later.

3:09 p.m. — 100 block Neufer Court, rear door kicked in and diamond rings and jewelry stolen along with a laptop computer and 30 pairs of earrings.

3:23 p.m. — 600 block Denison Ave., GPS, credit cards and ID stolen from a vehicle.

Lorain police

Thursday, Nov. 29

7:44 p.m. — 3100 block Eastlawn St., reported burglary of a home. The woman who lived in the home said her doorknob was broken and her alarm turned off. A witness reported seeing a thin white man, approximately 5-foot-10 and in his early 40s, wearing a flannel shirt, jeans and a white and blue hat, looking into a window of the vacant house next door.

11:10 p.m. — 3500 block Pine Oak Drive, reported theft of a motorcycle from the parking lot of an apartment building. Police said motorcycle and footprint tracks were seen leading from the parking lot to the grass toward Root Road, but the tracks stopped, indicating that the motorcycle was possibly loaded into another vehicle. The motorcycle was described as a 2011 black Yamaha R1 with license plate 96UVV.

Friday, Nov. 30

12:22 a.m. — 5300 block Leavitt Road, Kayla C. Gregg, 22, 3800 block Tacoma Ave., charged with theft, illegal conveyance of drugs into jail, possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs. Police said Gregg was arrested at Kmart for shoplifting cosmetics, and she tried to sneak lorazepam and heroin into the jail.
