Monday, Nov. 19

9:52 a.m. — 1600 block E. 30th St., reported theft of a bicycle from the front yard of a home.

8 p.m. — Root Road, David A. Huhn Jr., 42, 3100 block McKinley St., arrested and charged with improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, possession of cocaine and possession of drug abuse instruments. Police said Kuhn was pulled over during a traffic stop after police said he drove over a curb. Police said a loaded gun was found in the vehicle, and syringes and drinking straws, containing cocaine residue, was found in Huhn’s pockets. Huhn said he had the gun because he was threatened by gunpoint earlier that day.

8:01 p.m. — West 18th Street and Ashland Avenue, Edwaljer Coats Jr., 26, 3300 block Victory Ave., arrested and charged with disorderly conduct persisting, disorderly conduct intoxicated, obstructing official business and disturbing the peace. Police said Coats called police because he said he wanted a dog from someone, but the dog didn’t belong to him. Police said Coats was intoxicated, cursing at an officer, saying he wasn’t doing his job. Coats was arrested after police said he refused to stop yelling and leave the area.

8:59 p.m. — East 31st Street and Fulton Avenue, a man told police that two men in a gray or green 2005 Mazda, driven by the mother of his child, threatened to kill him as they pointed guns at him. The man said he was walking on East 28th Street near Southside Market when the mother of his child called him saying, “I see you,” and the vehicle pulled up next to him with the two men who threatened him. The man said he ran, but the vehicle did not follow him.

9:02 p.m. — 2300 block E. 35th St., reported burglary of a home.

9:49 p.m. — 2300 block E. 35th St., reported burglary of a home. A semi-automatic rifle, ammunition, GPS and laptop were reported stolen.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

3:23 a.m. — 4100 block Camden Ave., reported burglary of a home.
