Police release identity of double shooting suspect

LORAIN — Lorain police are asking for the public's help finding a woman who is a suspect in a double homicide this morning, and they're offering a $2,000 reward.

Listen to the 911 calls:

Donna Brown, 24, of Lorain is wanted for the murders of Dale Linder, 20, and Justin Linder, 22, who are brothers and are both from Lorain. She may still be armed with a handgun.

The shooting, reported about 6:30 a.m., happened at 1522 W. 23rd St.

Lorain County Coroner Steven Evans said both men died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Police had a portion of West 22nd Street blocked off until about 9 a.m. because it was believed the shooter was in a home there. She was not found, however.

Brown is 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts can contact Detective Steyven Curry directly at (440) 204-2166, call the Lorain Police Department at (440) 204-2100 or can anonymously text a tip by texting the word Lorain (followed by your message) to CRIMES (274637).
