Friday, July 22

11:35 a.m. — 300 block Church St., a man reported that his 17-year-old daughter would not listen to him. Both were advised on the procedure to filing unruly charges.

9:10 p.m. - Glendale Avenue, a toddler couldn’t find his family, but his parents were located within the park.

Tuesday, July 26

6:45 p.m. — 200 block S. Center St., Kathe Gruver, 44, Elyria, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and open container. David Meese, 44, Grafton, was charged with open container in a motor vehicle.

Wednesday, July 20

9:59 p.m. — North Main Street, an employee of a local restaurant wanted an officer to check on a dog that had been left in a truck that was parked in the parking lot for two hours while its owner was inside. An officer arrived and found that the dog had water and fresh air. No charges were filed.

Thursday, July 21

11:57 a.m. — 1000 block Scituate, a 7-year-old girl advised she and her sister could not find their mother. She was in the backyard, but the girls were scared because they didn’t know their mom was outside.

Saturday, July 23

11:46 p.m. — 1000 block Elm St., report of people being very loud while swimming.

Monday, July 25

6:32 p.m. — 1000 block Sunshine Court, a man wanted an officer to speak to his neighbor who was throwing beer bottles and cans in his yard. The man admitted to tossing the bottles and cans and told the officer he would stop.

Tuesday, July 26

8:54 a.m. — 1000 block Wellfleet, caller advised of a man sitting on the grass across the street from his house. The officer learned that the man is homeless and was looking for a place to stay.

6:06 p.m. — 900 block Oak, a man requested an officer at his house because his wife would not give him the car keys. An officer arrived and learned that the man is blind and that is why the wife was refusing to give him any car keys.
