Tuesday, July 12

3:14 p.m. – State Route 57 and Beechwood Drive, Samantha A. Wagner-Jardonek, 45, 300 block East Ave., charged with drunken driving, refusing to take a breath test, leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license and disorderly conduct for allegedly rear-ending a vehicle and leaving the scene. Police said Wagner-Jardonek was too drunk to stand without help, refused to take a Breathalyzer test cursed officers and called a black prisoner a racial slur.

Wednesday, July 13

2:33 a.m. – 600 block Foster Ave., Jerry Boone Jr., 22, 1900 block Fowl Road, Elyria, charged with assault, criminal damaging, vandalism and obstructing official business for allegedly smashing the car window of Raven B. Robinson, his girlfriend and then leaning into the car and biting and hitting her. Police said Boone then led them on a high speed chase before abandoning the car he was driving and running before being apprehended in a backyard in the 100 block of Spruce St.

Sunday, July 10

10:44 a.m. – Spitzer Marina, 301 Lakeside Ave., fish net, fishing rods, tackle bag, GPS unit and speakers stolen off boat some time between June 14 and July 10. Total value of stolen property is $5,399.

1:35 p.m. – 2600 block Marshall Ave., 3-foot-tall concrete Jesus statue valued at $200 stolen off front lawn.

Monday, July 11

11:48 a.m. – 900 block W. Ninth St., Antonio Robles, 30, 1300 block W. Fifth St., Lorain, charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching a 24-year-old woman, knocking her unconscious. The woman is two-months pregnant with Robles’ fifth child.

2:29 p.m. – 1200 block Factory Ave., television stolen from house, garage and kitchen doors kicked in.

8:34 p.m. – 5800 block Rosecliff Drive, Breda Ulcar, 51, 2700 block E. Erie Ave., Lorain, charged with burglary and carrying a prohibited weapon for allegedly stealing a bicycle, refusing to leave a home and carrying brass knuckles.

9:59 p.m. - Key Foods, 1600 E. 28th St., man brandishing a knife entered store and demanded money, man was chased out of store by worker with pistol.

Tuesday, July 12

3:09 a.m. – Beech and North Central drives, 14-year-old spotted walking charged with curfew violation and released to father.

3:12 a.m. – 4200 block Norfolk Ave., attempted garage burglary, resident found pry marks on locked garage door.

10:47 a.m. – 1700 block Tait St., drill saw worth $680 stolen from garage.

Tuesday, July 12

3:21 p.m. – 1600 block E. 29th St., attempted burglary, front apartment window tampered with and fingerprints found.

7:04 p.m. – BP gas station, 3059 Grove Ave., 31-year-old man punched in the head and face by three men outside the station, possibly in retaliation for the man yelling at motorcyclists who were riding recklessly around small children earlier on Packard Drive.

8:12 p.m. – Second Baptist Church, 300 W. 13th St., Chihuahua thrown up in the air and hit the ground by a group of children. The dog, which had injuries to its legs and neck, was taken to Lorain County Animal Emergency Center.

11:21 p.m. – 400 Hamilton Ave., Betty Jo Muck, 28, 400 block Hamilton Ave., charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching, slapping and throwing hot soup on her boyfriend Wilfredo Ortiz.

9:48 p.m. – 1100 block W. 11th St., Roger Rowser Jr., 36, 1100 block W. 11th St., charged with assault for allegedly punching Cynthia Bell, his girlfriend’s sister.

11:37 p.m. – 2200 block E. 42nd St., 52-year-old city man found bleeding from the head and below his left eye after being robbed of $10 while walking down the street. A 17-year-old Latino boy with short curly hair and wearing a red T-shirt and glasses and riding a red bicycle is suspected of beating and robbing the man.

Wednesday, July 13

12:58 a.m. – 1300 block W. 18th St., Jami L. Bartunek, 1300 block W. 18th St., Lorain, charged with two counts of domestic violence for allegedly assaulting Bobby Click, her boyfriend, and Elizabeth Krejci, her sister.

7:32 p.m. – 34400 block of Center Ridge Road. James M. Gregory Jr., 37, of Elyria, charged with assault.

Sunday, July 3

4:06 p.m. – 5800 block of McKinley Avenue. Eric J. Wetherwax, 48, of North Royalton charged harassment.

Monday, July 4

9:32 p.m. – 6600 block of Lear Nagle Road. Matthew R. Desha, 24, of North Ridgeville charged with using a weapon while intoxicated. Police said the man waved a gun and pointed it at a woman.

Wednesday, July 6

3:17 p.m. – 35066 Center Ridge Road. A cashier at a Speedway gas station told police she received a counterfeit $20 bill during a transaction. The bill was turned over to Secret Service agents for investigation.

Thursday, July 7

12:15 a.m. – 32650 Lorain Road. Kelsey M. White, 19, of North Ridgeville charged with disturbance and underage consumption following a fight on an outdoor patio at Aces Bar & Grill.

Friday, July 8

3:40 a.m. – 8500 block of Root Road. Timothy S. Wagner, 44, and Lisa E. Vanover, 40, both of Olmsted Falls, charged with petty theft and trespassing.

Saturday, July 9

1 a.m. – Jaycox Road at Drake Street. Michael A. Reinke, 37, of North Ridgeville, charged with driving under the influence and marked lanes.

4:11 a.m. – Center Ridge Road west of Olive Street. Police found a man staggering in the road who told them he was trying to walk home to Lorain. Luke J. Daugherty, 31, of Lorain, charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication.
