LORAIN — Chris Cook, a Lorain attorney and magistrate at Lorain Municipal Court, has been named to serve on the Ohio State Bar Association’s Board of Governors.
Cook will represent the 1,004 attorneys who live or practice in Ashland, Erie, Holmes, Lorain, Medina, Richland, Huron and Wayne counties, the association said. The board meets monthly to deal with bar association business.
Cook, who also works as prosecutor in Sheffield, is past president of the Lorain County Bar Association and also serves as the local bar association’s lawyer, the release said.
He is married with two children and lives in Sheffield.
