Monday, Nov. 29

3:49 p.m. – 3900 block W. Erie Ave., a woman reported that the man she entrusted to watch her cars while she was away allegedly shot them with a BB gun.

6:28 p.m. – West 17th Street, a woman reported she was pulled out of a friend’s vehicle and put into another vehicle by her ex-boyfriend, who attempted to strangle her. She escaped with minor injuries, according to the report.

8:39 p.m. – 3200 block Oberlin Ave., a man reportedly stole a gallon of milk and a carton of cigarettes and fled the scene on his bicycle.

11:29 p.m. – 800 block W. 18th St. several large home appliances were stolen from an apartment while the family was away for the holiday.

Tuesday, Nov. 30

2:55 a.m. – 5200 block Jamestown Place, someone broke into a home while two women and children were asleep, stealing a TV, Nintendo Wii game system and a purse.

6:12 a.m. – 1900 block Narragansett Blvd., a couple found their front door open in the morning and a kitchen window screen cut. It appeared that the only item stolen was Dr Pepper from a refrigerator in the basement.

6:47 a.m. – 500 block W. 18th St., a stolen van was recovered with its radio missing.

10:15 a.m. – 3600 Broadway, an aluminum dock plate stolen from a recycling company was recovered from a man’s backyard.

1:18 p.m. – 800 block E. 34th St., a man reported that his girlfriend’s mother allegedly threatened that she was going to “make his death an accident.”

Thursday, Dec. 2

6:43 p.m. - Hunan King, 3317 Oberlin Ave., a woman who had forgotten her purse was told by restaurant staff that another woman had already claimed the purse and left with it.

8:10 p.m. - Super Kmart, 5350 Leavitt Road, Enid Sanabria, 46, charged with theft of makeup.

Friday, Dec. 3

12:01 a.m. - 4400 block Maple Road, necklace, bracelet, watch and loose change stolen during burglary.

Tuesday, Nov. 30

12:39 a.m. – 1000 block Garden St., report of a woman being assaulted after three women forced their way into her home and threw her to the floor. The woman’s 1-year-old child reportedly sustained an injury.

6:33 p.m. – 900 block Wilder Ave., a teenage boy reportedly shot at a man’s window.

8:51 p.m. – 100 block Ridge Circle, a woman reported her vehicle was stolen after she let a man sit inside it to smoke instead of letting him smoke in her home.

Wednesday, Dec. 1

10:16 a.m. – 600 block East River St., report of someone breaking into a hospital vehicle overnight.

1:50 p.m. – 100 block Broad St., report of a stolen prescription.

3:10 p.m. – 1000 block Chestnut Commons Drive, Cody Laughlin, 18, of Amherst, was arrested on the charge of shoplifting after allegedly trying to steal a hard drive and tape.

4:09 p.m. – 100 block North Gateway Blvd., the owner of a Florida-based herbal teas shipment reported receiving bad checks from a local resident.

9:21 p.m. – 100 block Pennsylvania Ave., report of a man choking another man after accusing him of shooting at his property with a BB gun.

9:56 p.m. – 8600 block West Ridge Road, a man reported that two men robbed him at gunpoint after exiting Marco’s Pizza.

Thursday, Dec 2

9:56 a.m. - Walmart, 1000 Chestnut Commons Drive, Kelsey Smith, 21, Grafton, charged with theft of pants and jacket.

3:02 p.m. - 1700 block West Ave., copper pipes stolen from vacant home.

7:46 p.m. - Pricewise, 112 Antioch Dr., car window shattered in parking lot.

8:40 p.m. - Marc’s parking lot, 435 Midway Blvd., driver’s side window of vehicle shattered, GPS unit, stereo and speakers stolen.

11:30 p.m. - 1800 block Middle Ave., Larry Hill, Jr., 41, 600 block Weller Road, charged with domestic violence.
