LORAIN — A Lorain man had to be LifeFlighted to a Cleveland hospital after he was assaulted by three men overnight, but he is in good condition this morning.
According to a police report, officers arrived at 1235 W. 24th St. about 10:20 last night and found Pascal James down in the front yard.
A witness told police he heard noises and looked outside to see the man being assaulted by three black males. He said the men punched and kicked James until he fell down, then continued to strike him before fleeing eastbound toward Oberlin Avenue.
James was unresponsive, and his head was swollen and he was bleeding from his mouth, the report said.
James was taken by ambulance to Mercy hospital and then was LifeFlighted to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
