LORAIN — A brawl at a central Lorain intersection early Sunday reportedly resulted in one man pulling a gun.
Police went to West 22nd Street and Ashland Avenue about midnight but found that most of the combatants had fled.
One victim told police he was driving to a friend’s home when he saw a friend fighting with another man whom he described as a Marine on furlough for a few weeks.
When the Marine noticed the man in the car, he walked toward the vehicle and hit him in the ear with a baseball bat and chunk of ice.
The man left his vehicle and approached the Marine, who pulled out a small revolver and pointed it at him, demanding that he leave. The man got back in his car, left, and called police.
Police went to the Marine’s home but could not locate him Saturday. The case is still under investigation.
