9:14 a.m. – Elyria High School, a 17-year-old boy was charged with assault after a fight at school.

12:09 p.m. – 2400 block West River Road N., a wallet was reported missing.

2:16 p.m. – Midway Mall, Ronald R. Veals, 35, Elyria, charged with theft of blue jeans.

3:08 p.m. – McDonald’s, Broad Street, an unidentified juvenile stole a $20 bill from a woman’s hand.

3:28 p.m. – Detroit Road, Laura Brown-Dillon, 39, Avon Lake, warrant arrest.

5:06 p.m. – Wal-Mart, Chestnut Commons Drive, Andre McCoy, 26, Elyria, charged with theft of an HDT cable.

6:37 p.m. – 800 block Purdue Ave., Jeff W. Stump, 39, Elyria, contempt of court warrant arrest.

6:45 p.m. – 300 block Samuel St., a 14-year-old girl returned home after running away.

7:03 p.m. – 200 block Seventh St., a man said he received a death threat.

8:24 p.m. – Edward Avenue, Marcus D. Murry, 32, Canton, warrant arrest.

10:41 p.m. – Fairlawn Avenue, Mark R. Zucker, 42, Elyria, warrant arrest.

11:05 p.m. – 500 block E. Broad St., Gregory D. McFall, 53, Grafton, arrested on a warrant for aggravated robbery and charged with disorderly conduct — intoxication.

Friday, Oct. 6

1:47 a.m. – 100 block Tedman Court, Timothy Jackson, 23, Elyria, charged with domestic violence.

2 a.m. – 1800 block Middle Ave., Porsha Hamzah, 22, Elyria, warrant arrest.

11:25 a.m. – Southview High School, a 15-year-old boy, who was a student at Clearview High School, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing for starting a food fight in the cafeteria.

Thursday, Oct. 5

1:30 p.m. – 700 block Root Road, a minister reported a guitar stolen from his church.

2 p.m. – 1300 block W. 13th St., a woman said her wallet and loose change were stolen from her rental car.

5:23 p.m. – 4700 block Eagles Nest Drive, a girl received a harassing phone call from a classmate.

7:39 p.m. – West 11th Street, Harold A. Tucker, 42, Lorain, charged with possession of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and walking in roadway.

8:29 p.m. – 3400 block Lowell Ave., Michael Velez, 33, Lorain, charged with speeding and driving under suspension.

8:51 p.m. – W. 11th St., William Metcalf, 34, Lorain, charged with no driver’s license and no muffler in good working order.

10:20 p.m. – W. 11th St., Larry D. Hervey, 44, Lorain, charged with possession of crack cocaine, stop sign violation and driving under suspension.

10:51 p.m. – Seventh Court, Candido Montanez, 36, Lorain, charged with possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and unsafe vehicle.

Friday, Oct. 6

12:15 a.m. – 300 block W. Seventh St., Cesar Melendez, 19, Lorain, charged with criminal trespass and obstructing official business.

2:30 a.m. – 1700 block Oberlin Ave., Ricardo J. Harrison, 40, Lorain, charged with having weapons under disability and aggravated menacing.

4:51 p.m. – 200 block Illinois Ave., police recovered a stolen Chevy Malibu.

5:07 p.m. – 2600 block Reeves Ave., Amirah K. Bryant, 21, Lorain, charged with violating a temporary protection order, burglary, domestic violence and intimidating the victim of a crime.
