8:55 a.m. – Maytag Laundry, business was broken into and a fire extinguisher was sprayed inside.
9:41 a.m. – 200 block George St., a vehicle was broken into and A1 sauce was poured all over it.
12:01 a.m. – 100 block Fox Hill Lane, Antonio Lynch, 17, 300 block Oberlin Road, Elyria, charged with assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing official business, unofficial use of motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated after becoming combative with police.
Sunday, Sept. 23
10:15 a.m. – 3100 block Broad St., 1931 Chevy 3100 pickup damaged while parked at Apple Festival.
3:21 p.m. – 200 block Furnace St., window shot with BB gun.
5:56 p.m. – Second and Court streets, 14-year-old cited into juvenile court for disorderly conduct persisting.
7:08 p.m. – 400 block Third St., teal bike stolen from residence.
7:22 p.m. – Ridge Court, Leland B. Brown, 18, Lorain arrested on bench warrant through Lorain Municipal Court for criminal trespass.

3:10 a.m. – 100 block South Park Drive, Shaundale M. Brown, 19, Elyria, Stephen L. Jones, 19, Elyria, and a 17-year-old Elyria boy, all charged with robbery.

2:30 p.m. – Seventh Street and Middle Avenue, Donald Barbee Jr., 19, of Elyria, charged with possession of crack cocaine; Markell Fenderson, 19, of Elyria, charged with possession of marijuana.
2:40 p.m. – 100 block Midway Mall Blvd., Wal-Mart, Brian Riddell, 18, of LaGrange, charged with theft.
3:05 p.m. – Edward Street and Fuller Road, Brett Britton, 44, of LaGrange, charged with tampering with evidence, possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, open container, changing lanes.
6:28 p.m. – 700 Gulf Road, Northwood Junior High, student’s cell phone stolen out of his locker.
7:15 p.m. – 300 block Furnace St., vehicle broken into, various items stolen.
7:20 p.m. – 300 block 11th St., Arleana Smith, 32, of Elyria, warrant arrest and obstructing official business.
8 p.m. – 300 block East Ave., Adam Johns, 24, of Elyria, warrant arrest.
9:30 p.m. – State Routes 301 and 20, Jason Williams, 27, of Wakeman, warrant arrest.
10:38 p.m. – 300 block Furnace St., juvenile female ran away.

Friday, Sept. 21
9 a.m. – 2900 block Grove Ave., burglary and theft of more than $5,000 in items including a 42-inch plasma television and a collection of decorative knives.
3:30 p.m. – Georgia Ave., a 15-year-old boy riding a bike near E Street shoved to ground from behind; bike stolen by suspect, who is believed to be a student at Lorain Admiral King High School.
9:50 p.m. – 800 block W. 23rd St., Carlton R. Phillips, 19, 400 block Iowa Ave., Lorain, charged with walking in roadway, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, Sept. 22
12 a.m. – 2300 block Reeves Ave., temporary tags taken from vehicle. Vehicles tires also were slashed, and the car was scratched.
1:40 a.m. – 500 block W. 23rd St., resident heard a banging on his front door; then found a man standing in his kitchen. The resident hit the suspect several times, and he ran off.
10:40 a.m. – Kohl’s Department Store, a juvenile was caught stealing a wallet.
12:16 p.m. – 900 block Sixth Court, theft of $180 worth of extension cords and electrical wiring from home under renovation.
9:28 p.m. – 2300 block Reeves Ave., a woman said the man with whom she had been having an affair shoved her into the side of a vehicle. An affidavit for assault was filed, but the suspect could not be found.
Sunday, Sept. 23
1:28 a.m. – 4300 block Elyria Ave., Marvin Sims, 22, of Lorain, charged with failure to yield to public safety vehicles, no rear license plate.
1:35 a.m. – South Park and East College streets, deputy’s K-9 assisted Oberlin police in searching for drugs in vehicle; K-9 located small bag of weed in the door.
2:30 a.m. – Lake Avenue, 14-year-old male, no driver’s license, curfew, driving in marked lanes.
9 a.m. – Sheffield, two women said a coworker at a Midway Mall store stole their credit cards and used them for various purchases.
9:59 a.m. – 9200 block Oberlin Road, deputy shot and killed raccoon that was injured and dragging itself around by its front legs.
11:50 a.m. – Packard Drive, William P. Kirkendoll Jr., 21, Lorain, charged with reckless operation of a motorcycle.
1:29 p.m. – 4700 block Oak Point Road, woman said her ex-boyfriend stole a stereo and amplifier from her car.
4:10 p.m. – A 22-year-old woman took pills in an attempt to commit suicide. She was hospitalized for treatment and evaluation.
5:39 p.m. – 2900 block G. St., stolen car found on Crehore Street with the stereo, booster seat, toys, and eyeglasses missing.
6:30 p.m. – 1500 block Fillmore Ave., door was kicked in while residents were out of town.
7:46 p.m. – 400 block W. 14th St., unruly juvenile was taken to Turning Point in Elyria after threatening to run away.
8:19 p.m. – 3900 block of Meadowview Lane, two teen juveniles and an adult allegedly threatened a woman and her two children. During a fight, a boy was struck in the head several times with a metal pipe, but no charges were filed.
8:38 p.m. – West 22nd Street, 17-year-old girl said she was attacked by a 23-year-old woman. Police could not determine who started the fight.
8:51 p.m. – 300 block Augusta Ave., following a domestic dispute, a Lorain man threatened to kill himself. He was taken to CHP Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
9:36 p.m. – 1100 block Tower Blvd., two suspects driving a Mercury Villager drove away without paying after filling several gas cans at a Shell gas station.
10:16 p.m. – 300 block W. 14th St., several males shouted threats at the residents of an apartment building, and threw a rock through a window.
11:36 p.m. – 1800 block E. 28th St., Oscar Cortes-Arellano, 24, Lorain, charged with DUI, impeding traffic, open container.
Monday, Sept. 24
12:01 a.m. – 10000 block Dupont Ave., woman assaulted by ex-boyfriend.
12:55 a.m. – Broad Street and Washington Avenue, Brian Price, 18, of Lorain, charged with carrying concealed weapon, broken tail light, driving under temp permit.
4:25 a.m. – W. 24th St., Jay Roberts, 21, Sheffield, charged with disorderly conduct intoxication, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing official business.
7:40 a.m. – 600 block W. 14th St., man said a 33-year-old man who got his 16-year-old daughter pregnant was harassing the girl.
8:12 a.m. – 1300 block W. 24th St., purse taken from home while occupant asleep inside.
9:26 a.m. – 2300 block E. 28th St., car stereo reported stolen from vehicle.
11:02 a.m. – 900 block Tower Blvd., house ransacked and CDs, cassette tapes and a coin collection reported stolen.
10:20 p.m. – State Route 58, Matthew Hallaran, 28, of Spencer, charged with driving under 12-point suspension.
Tuesday, Sept. 25
12:34 a.m. – West 24th Street, Corey L. Jones, 24, Lorain, charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest, fleeing a police officer, reckless operation, driving under suspension, unattended motor vehicle and handicap parking violation.
9:38 a.m. – 100 block W. Erie Ave., Fifth Third Bank, customer deposited $10,200 bogus check.
9:49 a.m. – 1900 Cooper Foster Park Road, Burger King, woman left her purse on a seat, suspect walked away with it.
1:03 p.m. – 300 block W. Ninth St., juvenile female ran away.
1:17 p.m. – 700 block W. 38th St., man’s house broken into.
3:38 p.m. – 2900 block Colorado Ave., woman’s ex-boyfriend calling her on phone and threatening to burn her house down and throw her off a bridge.
