Friday, Aug. 24
8:19 p.m. – Avon Lake Dog Park, police were called to the park in reference to a problem dog named Mocha.

Monday, Aug. 27
11:38 a.m. – 30 block Community Drive, a caller told police two juveniles took a picture of the inside of her home through her living room window before riding away on bicycles.

Tuesday, Aug. 28
11:17 a.m. – 700 block Brookside Circle, a 1,000-foot-long spool of copper wire was stolen from a construction site.
11:06 p.m. – 100 block Lear Road, a babysitter told police the intoxicated father of the 3-year-old girl she was watching came to the residence and demanded to see his daughter.

Saturday, Aug. 25
2:18 p.m. – Devonshire Meadows, a vehicle ran into the subdivision’s brick sign at the Devonshire Meadow.
10:27 p.m. – 2100 block Clifton Way, a babysitter requested that police disperse the kids who were repeatedly tapping on the window and ringing the doorbell.

Wednesday, Aug. 29
5:04 p.m. – Avon East Elementary School, a man told police that a tan SUV was taking up two handicap parking spots, and when he advised the owner of the infraction, she gave him “the finger” before driving away.
