10:54 a.m. – 300 block Griswold Road, woman who was fired by employer poured baby formula on woman’s car.
12:16 p.m. – 800 block Middle Ave., Maggie Haas, aka Ashley Arnold, 21, of Elyria, warrant arrest.
12:48 p.m. – 9800 block Murray Ridge Road, Donald Mims, 22, of Elyria, warrant arrest.
1:50 p.m. – 700 block West River Road, boy was assaulted by three other boys. 
2:32 p.m. – Middle Avenue, Wofkey Mufleh, 28, of Elyria, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana, illegal lane change, failure to display license.
3:30 p.m. – Seventh Street and Middle Avenue, Charles Oliver, 19, of Elyria, warrant arrest.
4 p.m. – 3000 block Midway Mall Blvd., Macy’s, William Jones, 20, of Elyria, charged with theft.
6 p.m. – 800 block Foster Ave., man cashed his check at a bar and left the money on the bar top; about $200 of the money was stolen by another customer. 
10 p.m. – 4500 block Midway Mall Blvd., JCPenney, Dawna Baisden, 31, of Elyria, charged with theft.
10:17 p.m. – 6900 block Midway Mall Blvd., Red Lobster, Amanda Haller, 25, of Elyria, and Crystal Haller, 23, of Elyria, charged with assault.
11 p.m. – 800 block Rosewood Drive, officers investigated complaint that man tried to kiss a girl. 
11:50 p.m. – 200 block Fairlawn Ave., rock thrown through house window.

Saturday, Aug. 4
12:40 a.m. – 200 block Washington Ave., apartment broken into, various items stolen included television, CDs, DVDs, shoes, clothes and PlayStation games.
2:52 a.m. – 100 block Lake Ave., Sadao Waters, 21, of Elyria, charged with possession of drugs and marijuana, noise disturbance and warrant arrest.
3 a.m. – 10 block Lake Ave., Anthony Ramos, 19, of Lorain, charged with assault.
11:09 a.m. – 300 block of Fourth Street, identify theft complaint.
11:39 a.m. – 500 block of Wesley Ave., man said someone entered the garage of his rental property and stole 300 feet of kiln-dried walnut lumber.
12:58 p.m. – 1100 block of Oakwood Dr., 70-year-old man reports wallet with $200 and credit cards is missing.
1:50 p.m. – 2200 block of West River Road North, $1,035 of electronic equipment reported stolen from car.
2:19 p.m. – 1000 block of Chestnut Commons Drive, Christina L. Cotner, 23, of Elyria, charged with theft of $80 of items from Wal-Mart.
4:42 p.m. – 1100 block of Garden St., police investigate complaint 37-year-old man is having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
6:14 p.m. – 600 block of State St., man gives police security camera video of youths throwing eggs at his house.

Sunday, Aug. 5
12:05 a.m. – Bohannon Court and Pratt Blvd., Javau Johnson, 20, of Elyria, arrested on warrants from Elyria and Lorain.
3:09 a.m. — West Ridge Road and state Route 113, Buffie Hill, 35, of Elyria, arrested on a warrant.

8:22 a.m. – Liberty Avenue, Jack Earl, 71, of Amherst, overloaded truck by 6,700 pounds.
11:25 a.m. – Colorado Avenue, Adam Fortney, 25, of Lorain, overloaded truck by 2,900 pounds.
1:08 p.m. – Elyria Avenue and O’Neil Boulevard, Daleray Mincy, 29, of Lorain, charged with driving under suspension and only one license plate.

5:56 a.m. – 40000 block Butternut Ridge Road, deputy shot and killed injured deer in roadway.

2:10 a.m. – Cooper-Foster Park Road, William Poulos, 44, of Lorain, charged with driving under suspension; Rebecca Poulos, 41, of Lorain, charged with wrongful entrustment of vehicle.
9:19 a.m. – Colorado and Kansas avenues, Steven Myers, 53, of Cleveland, overloaded truck by 8,800 pounds.
11:04 a.m. – State Route 57, Michael Schilens, 36, of Brunswick, overloaded truck by 3,500 pounds.
3:40 p.m. – 50000 block state Route 303, deputy investigated complaint about someone passing bad checks.
4:36 p.m. – 200 block Oakwood St., Kristin Casey, 27, of Elyria, charged with domestic violence.
7:25 p.m. – 10000 block Westwood Ave., husband and wife arguing.

Sunday, Aug. 5
6:15 a.m. – Oberlin Elyria Road in Columbia Township, Steven Comrie, 27, of LaGrange, charged with criminal trespassing after allegedly panhandling at Circle K. Comrie had been ordered banned from the property for three years by a judge in Elyria Municipal Court, according to a sheriff’s report.

10:31 p.m. – East 31st Street, woman said a man who gave her a ride in his car after her car broke down stole her purse.

Friday, Aug. 3 
3:34 a.m. – 5700 block Whispering Pines Drive, eight cars broken into.
10:34 a.m. – 200 block W. 15th St., woman suspected her daughter used her ID to pay for a utility bill. 
11:30 a.m. – 1700 block E. 37th St., Chihuahua stolen from home.
3:15 p.m. – 4200 block Santina Way, stereo stolen from SUV.
3:33 p.m. – 1600 block of E. 30th St., police respond to report of fight and charge Gracemillie Marrero, 20, Katiria Rodriguez, 18, and Desiree Beltran, 22, all of Lorain, with rioting and assault. Myra Marrero, 46, of Lorain, was charged with rioting and inciting to violence. Marrero, Rodriguez and Beltran, who said she was pregnant, were taken by ambulance to Community Health Partners for treatment of injuries. A 16-year-old boy was referred to juvenile court on a charge of obstructing official business.
3:37 p.m. – 6100 block of Broadway, Ray Linn Arhar, 44, charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication after allegedly harassing patients at the Nord Center.
3:52 p.m. – 1900 block W. 27th St., woman suspected someone stole her $292 check and cashed it.
9:55 p.m. – 700 block Tower Blvd., Shaun Younkin, 18, of Lorain, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
11:30 p.m. – 1700 block E. 33rd St., woman suspected her boyfriend was stealing her prescription medications.

Saturday, Aug. 4
12:30 a.m. – 4200 block Pearl Ave., Xbox game system stolen from home.
12:49 a.m. – East 28th Street, intoxicated male taken to hospital to be treated for cut to eyebrow after being assaulted near bar.
12:58 a.m. – 1100 block W. 14th St., Honda Civic was intentionally set on fire.
9:36 p.m. – 1600 block of E. 30th St., police respond to a complaint about a fight and arrest Javon Lamar Byrd, 19, of Lorain, on a warrant.

Sunday, Aug. 5
2 a.m. – 1200 block of W. 30th St., man hears loud thud and discovers damage to window.
4:36 a.m. – 2400 block of Reeves Ave., woman said man punched her in head and slapped her.
5:25 a.m. – 3000 block of Clifton Ave., Laurie Ann Singer, 41, of Elyria, charged with possession of crack cocaine after being stopped on an arrest warrant.
