Ethnic roots: "My grandmother originated from a small town called Yabucoa, which is in the southeastern tip of Puerto Rico. She moved to Lorain when she was 9 years old."

Future plans: "When I graduate high school, I plan on attending either The Ohio State University or The University of Cincinnati to study dentistry. After dental school, I plan to open my own dental office."

I felt so proud to see where my family originated from, and a strong sense of pride erupted inside me. My visit there made me understand why Puerto Ricans have such pride in their nationality.
