United States' Tianna Bartoletta makes an attempt in the women's long jump final during the World Athletics Championships in London Friday, Aug. 11, 2017.

Elyria graduate Tianna (Madison) Bartoletta will receive one of the highest honors in Ohio high school sports this weekend, as she’ll be inducted into the OHSAA Circle of Champions during the boys basketball state championships.

She’ll be one of four athletes honored in Columbus.

Bartoletta, a 2003 Elyria graduate, won nine state track titles with the Pioneers, including four each as a junior and senior. She set a record in the long jump as a senior that still stands, helping the Pioneers win the state championship.

Following a decorated career at the University of Tennessee, she competed in the Olympics in 2012 and 2016. She won three gold medals, two as part of the world record-setting 4x100 relay and one in the long jump.

Also being recognized are former NBA guard and longtime assistant coach Jim Cleamons, former Ohio State captain and NBA player Brad Sellers and three-time Mid-American Conference Player of the Year and NBA player Gary Trent. The four will be honored at halftime of Saturday’s Division IV championship game that begins at 5:15 p.m.
