Cody

Hi, I’m Cody! When I was a teeny tiny newborn puppy, the nice folks at Multiple Breed Rescue took care of me until I was old enough to get adopted. They found a very nice lady who was my mom for six years. But my mom got sick, and she can’t take care of me anymore. So now I’m back trying to find a new family to live with. My foster mom says I’m a very good boy and any family will be lucky to have me. I’m house-trained, crate-trained, I get along great with my foster dog brother and sister and I don’t even chase the cats in the house (to be honest they kinda scare me a little).

You might notice there’s a little bit of white on my face, which my foster mom says makes me look “distinguished”. I have the same little bit of white on my paws and my belly so don’t think I’m old, it’s just how I look. I have lots of energy, and I love to play with my foster fur siblings. I also actually love my crate, stuffed animals and snuggling up on the couch. If you think you might like me to come live with you, please fill out an application for approval.

Stella

Stella is a gorgeous gal. She is already primarily house-trained. She is great with kids and gets along with other dogs and cats, too. Because she is so young, she would benefit from basic obedience training, but she’s already learned commands such as “sit” and she is really good about not jumping on furniture in her foster home. Stella loves to play and is very gentle when she needs to be. She is super sweet and snuggly and would love a forever family for the holidays. If interested in Stella, please complete an adoption application for approval.

Queenie

Hi everyone! Queenie here! I’m so happy you clicked on my bio to learn more. I really want a family to call my own … maybe that could be you? I used to have a family. They didn’t teach me many manners or basic obedience. They just yelled at me and hit me, and it made me scared all the time. They even left me tied up outside, all alone when they weren’t home. Something came along and attacked me one day when I was left by myself, and I was very injured. My family took me to the vet, but didn’t want to pay to have me treated, so that’s when I met the great people at Multiple Breed Rescue. They paid to fixed me up, and, even though I lost my right eye, I can see that they are nice people.

Despite my rough start, I still really love people. My foster mom tells me all the time what a good girl I am. I sometimes get scared that I’ll do something bad and get in trouble though, so that makes me quite shy with new people. It takes me a few times of meeting someone before I can tell if they’re going to be nice to me or not, and for me to get comfortable with them. Well, except with kids. I really love kids. I’m kind of big though and get really excited, so sometimes I knock them over, especially if they are little.

I am learning and trying to remember to “down” and “sit,” but sometimes I’m just so excited! I’ve been at my foster home for a while now. I get toys to play with, and even have siblings in my foster home. My foster sister Belle can be a bit grumpy, so she’s teaching me good manners. I also share the house with a cat, too, and we play all the time. There are even chickens that run around in the yard with me, but I’m not supposed to play with them, so I “leave it” when I’m told.

Speaking of running in the yard ... I love it! I’m quite energetic. I love to go on walks and even though I only have one eye, I’m really good at playing catch and fetch. And car rides, oh, I love those too. I am house-trained and crate-trained (only when my foster family isn’t home). I’m still very young and have a tendency to get in to things I shouldn’t so being in the crate is a good thing for now. But I’m not crated at night time when everyone is home; I get to sleep wherever I want which is pretty awesome.

My new family needs to be patient with me, especially in those situations when I may be meeting new people. Remember that I don’t like when strangers try to pet me because I need time to get to know someone first and become more confident that they will not hurt me. Once I get to know you, I can be a big cuddly baby. And I will give you 10-times the amount of love back that I receive. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application for approval. I look forward to the possibility of meeting you!
