Critter Chronicles: Bella

  • http-chronicle-northcoastnow-com-wp-content-uploads-2014-07-Belle-apl1-300x199

Bella arrived at Friendship last month with a litter of pups. She and her puppies were immediately transferred to a wonderful foster home. Bella’s five pups were later weaned and transferred to different foster homes to wait until they were old enough for vaccinations and surgery. Bella, too, has remained in a foster home. Her foster family reports that Bellea was a good mom and an excellent guest. Bella is fully house trained and knows basic commands. She was trusted to be left alone in the home during the day. Also, Bella lovesto play fetch and is very active once outside. She would make an excellent dog for an active family.

Bella is beautiful and very strong. She does not realize her own strength, so it would be best if she were in a family with older children. Bella gets excited around other dogs and needs to be slowly introduced. She will bark—but her tail is wagging. Bella is a wonderful pet for a family who loves to take long walks and play fetch everyday. She will bring one lucky family years of smiles and laughs.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
