Critter Chronicles: Leo-Prison Graduate

  • http-chronicle-northcoastnow-com-wp-content-uploads-2014-07-Leo-apl-300x199

Leo was recently adopted and returned. He was a graduate of the Prison Dog Training Program. Leo was returned to Friendship because he escapes. His family did not have fenced yard and have small children that go in and out all day. Leo pushes past the kids and runs. They lived on a busy county road and were fearful of him getting hit by a car, so they returned him for his own safety. His family said he was great with the commands he learned in prison, nice with the kids, completely house trained and overall a great dog. They were sad to give him up. If you have a secured fenced-in yard, Leo would love to be your new best friend. He's a wonderful family pet.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
