Critter Chronicles: Athena

  • http-chronicle-northcoastnow-com-wp-content-uploads-2014-04-Athena-apl-300x200

Athena is a super affectionate girl that was brought Friendship because her owner lost their home. She had some eye issues upon arrival and went into a foster home while being treated. Athena is now healthy and ready and waiting for her forever home. Athena's foster reports that she's the most affectionate dog he has ever known. She craves attention and loves to play. This sweet girl loves to be with her human as much as possible. Athena is very dog friendly. She'd love another canine buddy to play with but it should be one that's at least her size. She even lived with cats before arriving at the shelter. Although Athena loves life, she needs training. Athena would benefit greatly from a fenced in yard to help her expend some of her energy. She'd love another canine buddy to play with but it should be one that's at least her size. She's affectionate with kids too but because of her strength they should be older. Athena is a great house dog and does not need to be crated. The fact is she hates her cage and can become aggressive when in it. When out, she's happy as a clam.

Athena is still in foster care. If interested please call the shelter at 440-322-4321 to set up an appointment to meet her.
