Critter Chronicles: Misty

  • http-chronicle-northcoastnow-com-wp-content-uploads-2013-11-misty-hounds-250x300

Misty originally was rescued as an older pup and quickly found a home.  She proved to be too strong for her petite caregiver and was returned.  Misty has lived in a home and has all of her house manners.  She does seem to have somewhat of a prey drive so a home without cats would probably be best.  She probably would be best as an only dog but could possibly be fine with a larger dog.  Misty can only go to a caregiver who has experience with large strong dogs who may be head strong.  She will also need  a secure fenced in yard.  Misty will make a loving companion to someone willing to work with her and let her know what is and what is not acceptable.  She does want to please, she just needs to be shown the way.  Misty also knows some basic commands and would excel with having something to do such as agility or something that will build her confidence.  If someone even had a suitable environment and would be willing to foster it would help.
